| Abstract: | The ultimate goal of my thesis is the examination of the transformation of the Hungarian investment environment due to the privatization processes. To justify my assumptions, I applied primer and seconder sources. In the first part, I present why was the privatization needed during the regime change and how it worked in practice. Then I analyze the structural changes that have taken place within the Hungarian companies and how these changes influenced the position of the Hungarian economy. I discuss the inflow and the impact of the foreign capital to the Hungarian economy. In the second part of my thesis, I have chosen the construction industry because it is one of the most important and sensitive sector of the economy, that can be a representative indicator of my research. In the last part of the thesis, I present the privatization processes through a given company. As the result of the research, I could say the privatization included, countless mistakes, missed opportunities, wrong decisions, but it was inevitable for the Hungarian economy. |
