| 520 | 3 | |a During the years of my studies it always made me wondering how this knowledge and experience could be used for the benefit of my city Veresegyház. As a local citizen I could identify one important issue related to the tourism of Veresegyház: The City offers competitive attractions for its visitors, but not really successful in convincing them to spend more nights here. So the aim of my thesis is to suggest at least two destination program packages for Veresegyház, which can provide a variety of competitive destinations for tourists who bears the greatest potential to contribute to the local development of the city. In ordner to deliver feasible program suggestion I identified three important factors that should be examined: 1. The targeted tourist group should be identified, 3. Touristic attractions and offered services should be analysed, 2. A program package should be developed based on the above two. To examine these factors I deliver a multi-element analysis including: analysis of strategies, statistical data analysis related to tourism, a deep interview, a survey about the reputation of the city. As an output of these a SWOT can be delivered to evaluate the touristic concept of the City and its actions to develop tourism. It will support me to outline those strengths and weaknesses which should be considered during the framing of the program too. Through the survey of the touristic supply elements a competitive attraction program shall be suggested for the appointed tourists to increase the night spent in the settlement. | |
