Tourists' Experience and Satisfaction Regarding Public Transport in Amman

| Kivonat: | Public transportation is considered to be an integral part of urban tourism, within this context the purpose of this study is to examine tourists’ use of Amman’s public transport and visitors’ satisfaction regarding public transport in the city. A survey was distributed among tourists who have been to Amman, it consists of different aspects and dimensions of transport use in Amman. Findings indicated that the majority of respondents have used public transport during their stay, it also showed that various factors affected their experience, satisfaction, and reasons for using public transport. In general, the majority of tourists were satisfied with the public transport system of Amman and it did not affect their trip experience negatively, some remarks and suggestions for improvements were mentioned by tourists which needs to be taken into consideration. |
