Kivonat:The Belt and Road Initiative is a global development strategy adopted by the Chinese government in 2013 and involves infrastructure construction and investment in nearly 70 countries and international organizations in Asia, Europe and Africa. China and Europe are at both ends of the Silk Road, and the dialogue between the two civilizations has a long history. According to statistics, in 2017, the number of Chinese outbound travelers reached 129 million, ranking first in the world in both outbound travel and overseas travel consumption. Among them, more than 6.6 million Chinese tourists went to Europe. Hungary is the first European country to respond to the “Belt and Road” initiative. It is located in central Europe and is also a country with profound cultural heritage. In recent years, with the development of the Hungarian tourism industry and the increasing popularity in China, the number of Chinese tourists in Hungary has increased year by year. Therefore, this article will take Hungary as an example to study the development and prospects of tourism in China and Central Europe.
