Kivonat:The role of foreign direct investment in stimulating economic growth and promoting development has led governments in many developing countries to prioritize foreign direct investment attractiveness policies among their economic priorities. The decision to invest in a country can be motivated by a variety of determinants. Hence, it is important to identify attractiveness factors that encourage foreign firms to settle down in Tunisia. The main purpose of this thesis is to identify the factors or determinants of foreign direct investment inflow in Tunisia. Annual time series data for the FDI inflow in Tunisia was utilized over the period of 1996- 2018 to estimate our economic model using an Economic and political & institutional set of variables. Our results show us that unemployment, trade openness, human capital, political stability, and control of corruption help to explain the flow of foreign direct investment to Tunisia. The theoretical framework of the model is estimated in line with Dunning's OLI approach (2001). We are interested in the part 'L,' according to which firms establish where the 'Localization advantages' are.We were also based on previous empirical studies in relation with the topic.
