| Abstract: | In my thesis I will present the relationship between Hungary and Vietnam. Not only I studied the relationship between the two countries, but I also looked at Vietnam’s relationship with the European Union. I considered this important, because Hungary has been part of the European Union since 2004. Furthermore, I will also answer how one of the poorest countries in the world has become one of the fastest growing economies in Asia. I will describe the main types of migration and the factors that cause it, as well as I will present the Vietnamese diaspora internationally and domestically. I will also explain in details the objectives of Vietnamese migrants to Hungary, focusing on their characteristics and economic activities. Exploring with my experience, knowledge and information gathered, the most important question of my thesis is how Vietnamese migration and economic activity affect the Hungarian economy and its different segments. |
