Description
Abstract:Taking a closer look at the methodology of the major democracy indexes, Freedom House's Freedom in World, The Economic Intelligent Unit's Democracy Index and the World Bank's Worldwide Governance Index. Analysing the similarities and differences in the data collection and results by taking examining  Taiwan's results. In order to fully understand these results it is crucial to know about Taiwan's global status, its history and its political system and the challenges of that. China's factor into Taiwan's political and economical relationships have been discussed globally and in this paper I attempted to find the reason behind it and the actual influence the People's Republic of China has over the Republic of China.
