| Kivonat: | The following study will describe the general steps of the corporate credit analysis process and analyse the subject with a case study of a publicly listed or governmental corporation. I decided to use a publicly listed corporation, since the balance sheets and every other needed information is accessible through the glass-wall (full disclosure and total transparency) policy. The case study will compile the industry standard methods for conducting corporate credit analysis and will conclude the main areas which are judged by banks. After the case study, the innovative part of the thesis will be described. Throughout the process, possible effectiveness enhancements will be suggested by myself and later followed-up with interviews with professionals in the field, such as Krisztina Bogdán, Deputy CEO of Commerzbank (whom are well versed and credible in the field) and others.The following questions will be answered in the conclusion of the thesis:So why do these opportunities fall through? Where can the process be sped up? What can the banks or the companies do to aim for a more efficient way of maintaining a transparent, ethical and quick process? |
