| Kivonat: | This thesis work is about the comprehensive outlook on the economy of Turkey. The research scope extends from the early years of economic activity after the independence of the Republic of Turkey in 1923 to the latest years. Taking a brief look at the first decades of the economic situation, the thesis work especially emphasizes the financial crises and programs to mitigate their atrocious effects on the economy after 1980. Besides them, the thesis work elaborates on the major spheres of the economy in the last two decades. In relevant parts, the comparison between the Turkish economy and other economies is conducted. |
