Description
Abstract:In urban environment there is a viewable tendency of the growth in the number of pet owners, especially dog owners. The number of dog-owners in Budapest is so high that the need to research the opportunities of this group presented itself. In my thesis I tried to explore the situation in the capital city. The aim of this thesis is to create a comprehensive evaluation about the topic by combining and comparing the results from the primary research done and the secondary data from the scientific literature. I found that the pet-friendly business model indeed has a right to exist as there is a significant need and demand for it thus inviting the need for supply even when taking into consideration the obstacles and the counter arguments. This thesis is for people interested in similar research topics and businessmen who are planning on launching a dog-friendly business.
