520 | 3 | |a Over the last year, we have faced one of the significant environmental changes that the COVID-19 pandemic caused. The corporate world could not escape these changes as well, as it was a great driver to transform customary office working conditions to the new model of the home office environment. This paper analyzes how the coronavirus impacted the organizational culture and its change to the home office. To investigate this effect, I have conducted a survey that considered the topics of employees' preferences, job satisfaction, productivity, and psychological states. The results revealed that workers like working in the offices more than at home and are not satisfied with their efficiency performance in-home office. The results showed that they are experiencing stress and do not receive much help from their employer. The research concluded that the pandemic brought more negative consequences. Still, the highlight of the analysis was that people are getting used to the conditions, and the majority cannot imagine working in the office full-time anymore. The exploration unveiled that people are not satisfied with the changes that the COVID-19 brought, but companies have to provide support to make the home office environment more convenient for employees. The implication of this study could be used to help organizations understand how to adapt their corporate cultures to the new environment in the future. | |
