| Abstract: | In my dissertation, I examine the effects of Covid-19 on tourism as an industry and as a leisure activity with secondary and primary research. In my research, I seek answers to four questions related to the topic, examining several perspectives. I first started with the description of the virus, then I described the restrictions in Hungary due to the virus. After that, I examined the changes in tourism statistics, and then, coming to my primary research, I examined the travel habits of friends and acquaintances before and during the coronavirus, and interviewed Tímea Székelyi, owner of the Menta Travel travel agency, about the effects of the recent period. |
