| Kivonat: | In this paper both crises (1929 and 2008) were discussed separately by pointing out the economic situation at those times, the main drivers of the crises and the effects of the crises. I have analyzed both similarities and differences in regard to the reasons and government responses. The primary purpose of this research is to demonstrate how similar and different were these crises in nature as well as to show potential action plans to combat with the crises. The main question of this research is “what could have been done to prevent these crises?”. |
