Abstract:Lao PDR or Lao People's Democratic Republic is a landlocked country located in the middle of Indochinese peninsula as well as GMS or Greater Mekong Sub-region. The total area of Laos is 236,800 square kilometers with the overall population consist of approximately 7.413 million people. Due to the result of it location, it provides a strategic advantage to Lao PDR to transform from being a landlocked country to a land-linked country, especially for the sake of globalization in regional economic integration as well as transport and trade. In this respect, it became a great opportunity for Lao PDR to become logistic hub in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations regions or ASEAN. In aware of these situations, the government of Lao has converted itself into a land-linked country as the main policy that is necessary for the aspirations of the country to escape from being a least developed country. However, there are several limitations in Lao PDR logistic especially the insufficient of logistics system
