| Abstract: | The topic of my dissertation is the study of the role of the Danube river cruising trend. I am looking for the answer to why the tourism trend of Danube shipping is so popular and what opportunities it can be developed to survive in the long run. The main aim of the research is to explore which roads are the most popular and in which direction the sector should develop for long-term success. In order to examine this from as many points of view as possible, I used several methods in my primary research. As one of the methods, I chose the questionnaire to examine as large a sample as possible. In my qualitative research, my in-depth interview with a foreign and Hungarian expert in the field supports my quantitative research. An evaluation of the results obtained follows this. |
