520 3 |a When it comes to the development of the tourism sector, hotel resources must be inseparable, hotels are the foundation and key element for the tourism industry's long gestation. In China, however, with the increasing number of tourists in recent years, the hotel industry is under a lot of pressure. The traditional hotel model is no longer able to cope with the current customer demand and quality. It is time for hotels to enter a new development and reform as it relates to the interests of the hotel and its long-term sustainability. With the continuous advancement of technology in recent years, the use of technology can be seen everywhere in life, such as intelligent systems, intelligent systems are the Internet, data, computer networks and Artificial intelligence and other technologies are being developed to meet people's various individual needs. Examples include intelligent cars, intelligent voice control, etc. With the rapid development of the Internet and the growing awareness of travellers in recent years, the Chinese hotel industry has gradually started to move closer to intelligent hotels to meet the different needs of customers and improve customer satisfaction, highlighting diversity and personalization. Therefore, this thesis is to determine the requirements and standards of a truly intelligent hotel. It is important to analyse the development of smart hotels in the Chinese hotel industry and to find out whether smart hotels can become a new model for hotel development. To achieve the research objectives, this paper uses both quantitative as well as qualitative research methods simultaneously. The questionnaire method and the case study method will be used at the same time, and these two methods will be combined to be more complete and closer to the research objectives. In addition to these two methods, there will be a literature review method, where I will collect information on the history and recent developments in the use of intelligent hotels. The conclusion is that through the research, intelligent systems can be widely used in the hotel industry to provide better services to customers, and for customers, intelligent hotels provide a better-personalized experience, and for hotels, cost and manpower savings can be implemented to improve the customer experience, resulting in a win-win situation for both parties.
