Kivonat:In my dissertation I have focused on the e-commerce and marketing including the most common tools. The whole topic is introduced through the operation of DHL Express in Hungary, thus it gives a real example from the real life. At the first half of my dissertation I have approached the topic from the point of view of literature, the works of professionals as secondary research. At the second half of my dissertation I have placed the whole topic to the Hungarian business unit of DHL Express and examined how theories work in real life. I have even done primary research in order to have precise, relevant and current data, so I had 6 interviews with the most helpful employees of the company. As a result of these primary and secondary researches I have drawn a complex and detailed picture about the present and the future of e-commerce and online marketing. During my work I had 5 hypotheses related to my topic which were researched and examined. At the end of my study I was able to accept or reject these hypotheses as a consequence of my researches and efforts during my work. In the conclusion I have even identified some surprising facts about the current situation, which hopefully provide interesting facts to the kind readers of my dissertation.
