| Kivonat: | This thesis covers the development opportunities of Hungarian rural tourism, including farm tourism, through the examples of Australia and Italy where this type of tourism particularly flourish. Hereby, the characteristics and development processes of farm tourism will be presented that benefit the sake of sustainability in the regions of Toscana, Italy, New South Wales, Australia and Western Hungary along with the Lake Balaton tourist region. The study aims to evaluate the nature, circumstances, development methods and sustainability level of farm tourism applied in the respective countries in order to find those elements that might set up a more sustainable, easily marketable and profitable approach to the society, environment and economy by implementing those measures into the Hungarian rural tourism. |
