This has triggered various conflicts in destinations and sparked debates as to how to deal with what is increasingly referred to as ‘overtourism’.  Overtourism has caused  severe environmental damages. Visitor numbers to World Heritage Sites are constantly increasing year by year , some even reached critical levels which means these places are gradually being ruined due to overtourism. Many places have introduced restrictions for visiting these sites. Moreover, there is an increase of crimes in tourist-centered cities, globalisation, devastating impacts of the local flora and fauna and littering. My aim is to highlight the importance of this phenomenon and introduce solutions which can help our world without holding back the tourism industry.
