520 3 |a The pandemic has substantially affected all bureaus of life, including social, political, economic, and environmental, inflicting global crises all over the world. However, among these all bureaus, the corporate world had been most affected by the novel virus, which has largely affected the different sectors of the business. However, the business of the airline industry has been most affected, because of the pandemic, which inflicted lockdown and closure of borders throughout the world. The airline industry which operates on the public forum, and includes the use of borders between different states, was highly affected, primarily because of the closure of the borders, and secondly because of the change in consumer buying behavior. This change resulted in high economic loss and corporate loss, which substantially destabilized the industry. Hence, the research evaluates both the business impact of the pandemic in the airline industry, as well as its economic, social, and business implications in Europe. The data has been collected through a semi-structured questionnaire that included 121 respondents to analyze the change in the consumer perception after the pandemic and the change in the traveling habits of the consumers. The results of the research indicated that the ill-organized management of the airline industry has been a fundamental reason for the failure of the airline industry, as the industry failed to analyze the change in the consumer preferences and in incorporating the managerial practices, and safety provisions.
