| 520 | 3 | |a I have chosen this topic because becoming an entrepreneur is what I wanted since I was a kid, just I never knew where to start it. I expected from this thesis, that it will give me the final push to establish a company and to give answers to all the questions that can appear in someone’s head, related to this topic. Becoming an entrepreneur nowadays is more and more popular. There are a lot of reasons behind it, but what should we do and where should we start if we want to become one of them? I was trying to find out the answers to these questions. Starting from the first step, which is defining what is the meaning behind the word entrepreneur and the necessary knowledge and attributes for it. Going through the options in Hungary regarding the possible business forms, the tax systems, the legal conditions, and the finance part. In my thesis, I tried to map all the now available possibilities in the market for a new company. I have presented the main steps in setting up a small business, with particular emphasis on the decisions to be made when starting a business. I paid specific attention to the importance of making a business plan and the usefulness of having it. I mentioned all the necessary parts of it and every step was detailed, as it was a guideline. I also described the fact that certain types of companies and areas of activity impose additional tasks on the founders, for example, it may be necessary to obtain permits from the competent authorities, to register with a professional organization, and that these must be considered. I highlighted the options for financing a new or an already existing company. In that chapter, I have reviewed the differences between loans and leasing too. For a few thoughts, I have mentioned the now available opportunities for SMEs in Hungary. After all the theory I have implemented everything into practice. I made a business plan for my own future company and showed what I have chosen regarding difficult issues. My main motivation was to make a business plan, that leads to the final step, which is registering a company. I tried to focus on showing every step detailed and I wanted to give a full understanding of a business plan. I have forecasted the revenue and the finances for my future business, which can be a good base for other companies too. In my thesis, I presented data obtained in primary and secondary ways. The primary information was from a questionnaire, which was filled out by 64 people. In this questionnaire, I tried to find the answers to questions, such as: is there any need for a new coffee shop or getting confirmation or refutation what kind of marketing strategy, I should choose. I obtained the results of my primary research with a quantitative analysis of the questionnaire and supplemented it with an interview with a professional in this field. In the final chapter of my dissertation, I summarized the results of the primary and secondary research. I have also mentioned what I have learned during the whole process and the result for my hypothesis and research questions. By the end of the thesis, I got answers to all my questions, and I also got a full picture of how to become an entrepreneur in Hungary. | |
