520 3 |a Due to the growing number of environmental issues in recent years, more and more green concepts have been proposed and implemented. Green supply chain management originated as a new concept that focuses on reducing environmental pollution and resource consumption. And circular economy as a restorative or regenerative system that focuses on reusing, recycling, and restoring. This study attempts to evaluate the obstacles and initiatives taken by two significant oil corporations (Chevron Corporation and Shell plc) to implement more sustainable supply chain management techniques to reduce detrimental environmental impacts and improve the circular economy. In this study, three components of GSCM were detected in both organizations, and despite their similar approaches, there were distinctions in their end-of-year results. While both Chevron Corporation and Shell plc adopt components of GSCM, the study indicated that Shell plc outperforms Chevron Corporation in terms of end-of-year performance. Finally, I analyze the results and offer some recommendations for how both might enhance their supply chain sustainability and circularity implementation.
