Using NFTs as a way of alternative finance brings two notions together: fundraising and gamification. With the application of blockchain technologies, a new way of crowdfunding is observed. Instead, techniques of integrating gameplay mechanics into non-game contexts such as behavioral interventions and motivation may be utilized to increase user engagement as well as the quality of work, and the results of the study can be reported using gamification in this context. In this study, the primary objective is to determine why the crowdfunding approach, and specifically its use for fundraising via cryptocurrency, is gaining more popularity than traditional financing techniques. Overall, it can be argued that non-fungible tokens are more productive than fungible tokens to a certain level and that this makes fundraising procedures more appealing for investor communities.
