| Abstract: | Hotels play a major role in the economy of many countries. The hotel industry represents a sector in which companies change over the years. New ideas and concepts are involved. Innovation management has to be taken into consideration in the hotel industry same as in any other sector. It is not only the combination of basic innovation management techniques but is intended to create good conditions for the improvement of the hotel. Unfortunately, the tourism sector has been impacted negatively by the covid-19 in 2020. Hotels were in the obligation to manage innovative concepts and services. I conducted an interview with the front office manager of Hilton Al Houara Tangier Resort & Spa and an online international questionnaire. It allowed to me gain a deeper understanding of how innovation has been managed and implemented during this covid-19 more specifically between 2020 and 2021. |
