Description
Abstract:THE DEMOGRAPHIC SITUATION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION This paper deals with the swift review of the federal entities of the Russian Federation, while giving special attention to the main minorities of the country, and to the city of Moscow. The main questions were the following: What is demography itself What are the current federal subjects of the Russian Federation What is the historical meaning of Moscow The paper also deals with the rather extensive review of the twenty-two republics of the Russian Federation. The research methodology of the paper was the following: gathering information on the topic of the paper, and then after carefully reading the sources, considering the most important findings. The most important findings were the following: rulers of empires, countries need some sort of statistics on their subjects (we can call these data demographics). In addition, the paper shows that the Russian Federation possesses a vast number of ethnicities, who mainly reside in whether in their titular republics, or in its proximity. Also, the paper demonstrates, that most of the aforementioned republics, according to the 2020 population census of the country have a slight majority of female inhabitants. The assumption, that the populace of the Russian Federation are only people of European ancestry and are of Orthodox Christianity has proved false by the assessment of these republics. In addition, the capital city of Moscow, a metropolis that is home to more than ten million inhabitants has an abundant and lengthy history, that is profoundly reviewed by this paper.
