Kivonat:How do we prepare for our pensioner years? What are the goals/actions of the states of the EU to keep pensions sustainable? What can we do to ensure our financial safety for our elderly years? How much time do we have until the state funded pension years end due to unsustainability? How did the war and the high inflation impact the low income pensioners of Hungary?   I hypothesize that the state funded pension has a due date because of the low fertility rate of the citizens. My second hypothesis is that the majority of the people are not prepaired to be financially self-supporting in their pensioner years.  I have selected this topic for several reasons. The primary reason is that I am in the age where I believe I won’t have a state funded pension (35 years from now) which I would like to proove in this thesis. Secondly I would like to see how many years we have left until the end of the state funded pensions in Hungary.
