| Kivonat: | The topic of this research paper is the potential of impoving contemporary supply chains with the implementation of blockchain technology. Even though it was invented on another field, blockchain could be used to impove the traceability of products in numerous different chains including food or luxorious goods, avoiding food-bourne diseases and fighting counterfeit products. Improved traceability is just one of the benefits it could have on today's supply chains. The paper also investigates the limitations and the adoption barriers of the technology. |
