Description
Abstract:Energy plays a vital role in the economic growth and development of nations. Energy is a one of main drivers of economic development in Azerbaijan, contributing significantly to the country's GDP. The country is endowed with abundant fossil fuel reserves, which have traditionally been the primary source of energy for power generation and transportation. However, in recent years, Azerbaijan has begun to shift its focus towards renewable energy as a means of diversifying its energy mix and reducing its dependence on fossil fuels. This thesis will explore the financial implications of implementing renewable energy in Azerbaijan. The work will provide an overview of the current state of energy in the country, including an analysis of energy consumption, production, and the environmental impacts of fossil fuel dependency. The report will also conduct a financial analysis of renewable energy investments in Azerbaijan, examining the economic viability of renewable energy technologies and financing mechanisms for renewable energy projects. It also evaluates the policy and regulatory framework for renewable energy in Azerbaijan and the impact of this framework on the financial viability of renewable energy investments.
