| Kivonat: | This thesis intends to analyze Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the era ofglobalization, its impact on economic growth. Using a time-series data set covering the periodfrom 1980 to 2021, the paper employs using qualitative and econometric methods of research,considering different variables to investigate the relationship between FDI and economicgrowth. The analysis was done on a case study of China. The results reveal the impact of FDIon economic growth in China. The paper also highlights the role of China’s policy in attractingand regulating FDI, the key industries and regions of FDI, nowadays challenges andopportunities that China.Keywords: FDI, economic growth, GDP, globalization |
