While both nations have unique historical and cultural backgrounds distinct from that of Korea, they share a mutual interest in the expansion of economic and political connections. The text accentuates the significance of soft power and public diplomacy in the realm of international relations and emphasizes the pivotal role played by Korean Cultural Centers (KCCs) in advancing Korean public diplomacy worldwide. Through a range of cultural and educational programs, KCCs function as a forum where Korean citizens and global communities can interconnect and interact with each other.
