Kivonat:The paper is divided into severalpart to describe the problem in logical and detailed way. Firt of all, itstarts with the introduction where main problem, hypothesis, research questionsand aims of the research are presented. Following this, literature reviewdescribes most important and relevant literature related to the topic.Additionally, literature review observes previous works on the problem. Themain part begins with the chapter 1 – Overview of the main concepts, whichgives the reader understanding about main concept of the state sovereignty andits characteristic. Chapter 2 discusses the influence of the soviet regime on thepost-soviet countries, including soviet regime, russification and economic centralization.Chapter 3 analyses the main challenges to state sovereignty in post-Sovietcountries, including economic, territorial, political, ethnic and nationaldisputes. The main attention is paid to economic challenges since mostpost-Soviet countries have still dependence from the outer factors. Chapter 4discusses the problem dividing the countries by the regions. In this chaptermain analysis is directed to the Russian influence on this regions andcountries. Finally, conclusion depicts that there is still significantinfluence of Russia on post-Soviet countries, including economic dominance aswell a political suppression.
