Kivonat:In today's fast-paced world, with more people opting to use mobile applications for their grocery shopping needs than ever before, it is vital to comprehend how UX design affects a customer's overall satisfaction. Particularly in Hungary, where market-leading grocery stores have yet to be studied regarding the correlation between UX design and client gratification levels. The purpose of this study is to investigate key factors impacting consumer contentment within mobile grocer applications along with assessment via associated conceptual models. Hungarian grocery stores are continually seeking new ways of remaining at the forefront of innovation that attract customers who demand convenience when shopping. In response, this study explores insights that can help such stores improve mobile application design leading to a more satisfying experience for users. A streamlined design with improved features will result in higher levels of engagement from loyal customers translating into increased revenue growth. This thesis presents insights from a user study conducted with 40 participants, testing their experiences on 6 different online grocery shopping apps operates in Hungary. By analyzing the in-depth analysis of both empirical data (user feedback) and academic literature (theoretical frameworks/models), the study aims to identify the essential determinants impacting customer satisfaction towards these digital apps and provide recommendations to improve their overall accessibility ease of use, and personalization features. The objective is to incorporate well-established UX design principles to improve the user experience, leading to higher customer engagement and revenue growth for grocery brands. The study highlights the need for further research in this area and emphasizes the importance of understanding how UX design affects customer satisfaction in the context of mobile applications.
