Kivonat:Abstract This research paper delves into the realm of Just-in-Time (JIT) method within the logistics sector in the Toyota’s production system. The study utilized qualitative research methodologies, the study was conducted based on secondary data focusing on the JIT method in the Toyota’s Production System and identify which steps in the Toyota JIT method are used by scientists. In the present era of globalization and intensified international integration, it is imperative to identify strategies for enhancing work processes and minimising expenses through the utilization of Industry 4.0 technologies. The Just-in-Time (JIT) method has promise in reducing inventory costs and enhancing operational efficiency. By eliminating unnecessary and non-value-adding processes, this approach has the ability to optimize profits and reinforce competitiveness for businesses. The Just-in-Time (JIT) approach was initially implemented in the management practices of Toyota, wherein the optimization of efficiency and cost reduction was achieved through the modification of raw material orders from suppliers in alignment with production schedules. This facilitated Toyota in strengthening its competitive advantage compared to competitors. Currently, with increasing competition on a wide scale, many manufacturers have also gradually used this method for inventory management and applied it to production to reduce costs and improve efficiency (Fullerton et al., 2001). In summary, this research paves the way for a comprehensive understanding of the importance of Just-in-Time (JIT) method and its advantages in the Toyota production system and explores which steps in the Toyota JIT method are considered important and prioritized by other manufacturers for implementation in their production systems. Keywords: Just-in-Time, JIT, Toyota’s production system, Logistics.
