Kivonat:The primary objective of this case study is to examine the Islamic banks in Pakistan and evaluate their solvency mechanism. This is particularly important given the current volatile economic conditions in Pakistan, which are influenced by political fluctuations and several other dangers. Therefore, it was imperative to assess the resilience of Islamic banks. In order to achieve this objective, Habib bank was selected as a representative of Islamic banks in Pakistan, and its management of bankruptcy was thoroughly examined. Additionally, the bank's annual reports from 2013 to 2022 were assessed from the viewpoint of insolvency by comparing various indicators. The findings were very favorable, indicating that Habib bank's financial policies and procedures throughout the period exemplify a commitment to maintaining liquidity, solvency, and profitability. This positions the bank as a reliable and secure institution within Pakistan's banking sector. This assessment validates the bank's ability to effectively handle its finances in a challenging economic environment and suggests a positive outlook for future stability and growth.
