The relevance of this research lies in its contribution to understanding the digital transformation of the Hungarian tourism sector and its impact on the workforce. The study employs a qualitative methodology, using semi-structured interviews with six industry experts from different sub-sectors of the Hungarian tourism sector. The results show a significant shift from manual to digital processes in all sectors, highlighting the importance of digital skills and the need for continuous learning and adaptation. The research also reveals exciting opportunities for the Hungarian tourism industry, with the emergence of new job profiles driven by evolving industry trends and the growing influence of artificial intelligence and robotics. | |
