| Kivonat: | The topic of my dissertation has been chosen based on my interests, as well as the relevance of Information Technology in the field of Logistics. Personally, I have always been very interested in Logistics, especially in supply chain management. As a result of this, I have chosen commercial logistics, as my specialty course at my faculty. The following subjects: Logistics Informatics, Commercial Logistics, Supply Chain Management, have inspired me to pay more attention on this specific topic, and also to examine it from different perspectives. The other factor was mainly, that I have been working at Samsung SDS at the Logistics department, as an intern for a few Months. One of the industries with the quickest growth in our day is logistics. There is no denying that having a strong logistics department offers businesses a competitive edge, and raises the value of the goods and services that are produced. Goods can be used by customers in a way that meets their needs. In order for the product to benefit the customer, logistics helps to guarantee that, it is there at the appropriate time, location, and quantity. It follows that supply chain management cannot exist without the importance of logistics. |
