Kivonat: | This study investigates the relationship between digital literacy and economic development in Indonesian provinces, exploring how variations in digital literacy impact the connection between poverty and industrial establishment numbers through several indicators such as income, production growth, and index of Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises (MSMEs), poverty, and unemployment. The research uses quantitative methods by regression analysis of government data to narrow the digital divide and highlight digital literacy's importance for economic progress. Key findings reveal a significant correlation between digital literacy and income indicating its role in fostering economic advancement. However, results regarding digital literacy's impact on MSMEs' production are mixed, suggesting regional or temporal variability. Notably, higher digital literacy levels are associated with reduced poverty and unemployment, implying potential job access and entrepreneurship benefits. Overall, the study contributes to policymaking by identifying areas for targeted digital literacy initiatives and expands knowledge on digital literacy's regional influence, benefiting researchers, policymakers, and development organizations. |
