| Kivonat: | This thesis explores the multifaceted implications of Chinese investment programs, primarily driven by the Belt and Road Initiative, on the countries of Central Asia. Through a mixed-method approach encompassing case studies, expert interviews, survey, document analysis, and quantitative data collection, the research investigates the economic, political, and socio-cultural dynamics shaping China's engagement with the region.
