Description
Abstract:The following research thesis, "The Rising States of Southeast Asia in the 21st Century: The Case of Indonesia," was written with the aim of unraveling the question: How can a nation as diverse as Indonesia, with different cultures, religions, over 700 dialects, and immeasurable levels of communication, become successful on the world scale? Delving into the country’s history, current affairs (both economically and politically speaking), and social conditions was key to properly assessing the situation. In addition, qualitative research was conducted during the writing of this thesis with Indonesian nationals originating from different regions of the nation, each with a different cultural background and perspective.
