| Abstract: | Since appearing in a German government report in 2011, the phrase "Industrial Revolution 4.0" has become more popular in many developed countries around the world than ever before when it is expected to bring about a comprehensive, groundbreaking change with the combination of technologies together, in which there is the banking industry. The thesis studies the influences of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution on the Vietnamese banking system. This is a new issue, there has not been much research in the academic and practical world. Industrial Revolution 4.0 has caused many impacts on the banking system, including Vietnam. The level of competition between banks is becoming increasingly fierce, forcing banks to increasingly invest in technology and change operating methods to continue to develop. The general goal of the thesis is to analyze and clarify how the Fourth Industrial Revolution affected the banking system in Vietnam. Using qualitative methods combined with synthetic methods and descriptive statistics. Research results show the impacts of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution on the Banking System. From there, it helps bank administrators draw important conclusions. At the same time, the thesis also suggests some recommendations for developing the Vietnam Banking System under the trend of Fourth Industrial Revolution. |
