Traceability of Packaging at a Hungarian Car Parts Manufacturing SME

| Kivonat: | This thesis examines the traceability of packaging in the SME sector in Hungary with a focus on a car parts manufacturing company. Data is evaluated from pre- and post-integration phases of a new method within the company’s ERP system. In addition, an analysis has been conducted comparing returnable and one-way pallets, including calculations for environmental impact and costs during the Romanian deliveries. Results indicate that while the new method enhanced tracking efficiency, certain limitations persisted, and further research is needed. Furthermore, the findings reveal that EURO pallets could be less environmentally friendly for deliveries to Romania compared to alternatives. |
