Description
Abstract:Analysis of Hungarian Thoroughbred Racing from a Marketing PerspectiveIn my thesis, I examined the development and current state of Hungarian thoroughbred racing, tracing its journey from its early beginnings to the present day. I analyzed the potential factors that contributed to the sport's current situation, with a particular focus on Hungarian thoroughbred breeding, racehorse owners, and the role of betting enthusiasts. To provide broader context, I compared my findings to international models. As part of my research, I used quantitative methods to assess the opinions and attitudes of the general public toward Hungarian horse racing. By comparing the results of primary and secondary research, I was able to create a comprehensive picture of the current state of the sport. Finally, I offered recommendations on how the Hungarian thoroughbred racing industry could become more appealing and regain the flourishing era it once enjoyed.
