Abstract:The following research's aim is to investigate the impact of food allergy and food intolerance on the hungarian households from the point of view of shopping behaviour and decision making processes, in various household with different income levels.Food allergies are significant health problems for millions, causing everyday problem to the affected consumers. The study highlights the questionnable availability and astronomical pricing of the allergy-free products, causing financial challanges to many households. By examining how food allergies shape purchasing decisions, this research aims to provide insights into the mind of the consumer evolving market conditions in Hungary.
