Kivonat:This thesis examines the strategies employed by Hungarian microbrewery managers to navigate economic challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the period from 2020 to 2024. Drawing on case studies, interviews, and industry reports, the research investigates four key areas: the impact of inflation on production costs, opportunities for market expansion and export, the role of sustainability and green brewing practices, and shifting consumer behavior and craft beer trends. With the COVID-19 pandemic as a critical backdrop, the study explores how microbreweries adapted to disruptions in supply chains, changes in demand, and evolving regulatory frameworks. Additionally, the thesis highlights how these businesses leveraged innovative marketing strategies, sustainability practices, and product diversification to enhance resilience and profitability. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, this work contributes to a deeper understanding of the evolving craft beer industry in Hungary and provides insights into the broader implications of economic shifts for small and medium enterprises in the brewing sector.
