With the rapid development of AI and automation, many low-skill, repetitive jobs in industries such as manufacturing and construction are being replaced, while the demand for high-skill positions is on the rise. Using a literature review, case studies, and survey data from 100 participants from different regions and industries, the study finds that the adoption of AI leads to job restructuring, skill polarization, and regional differences in employment outcomes. Developed regions adapt faster to AI, while less developed regions face greater challenges such as skills gaps and low policy awareness. The study recommends strengthening vocational training systems, improving regional coordination, and enhancing social protection to support affected workers. Overall, AI presents both opportunities and risks; with appropriate policy support, AI can facilitate industrial upgrading and improve the quality of employment.
