| Kivonat: | For generations, The Walt Disney Company has been responsible for creating the best childhood memories and lessons for life and all of that took a big turn in 2006 when the company merged with Pixar Animation Studios. The goal of my thesis is to unironically “merge” my studies on the theoretical topic with the appreciation to the creators of my childhood, by writing a fundamental (financial) analysis on the firm’s performance after one of the greatest mergers of the entertainment industry. It is focusing on the two years before and after the merger, to properly interpret the changes that played a relevant part in the transaction. |
