Motivated by the author’s personal experience, the research aims to evaluate how such programs influence career trajectories, what transferable skills participants gain, and whether outcomes vary based on demographics or professional background. A mixed-method approach was used, combining quantitative data from a survey of 72 former participants and qualitative insights from an in-depth interview. The findings reveal that while not all participants experience direct job advancement, the programs significantly enhance employability through the development of soft skills such as communication, adaptability, teamwork, and cultural awareness. Most respondents reported improved confidence, better English proficiency, and greater openness to international work environments. The thesis also highlights a strong demand for more career-related support within these programs. While their impact is often indirect, cultural exchange experiences provide long-lasting personal and professional benefits. The study concludes that such programs are valuable tools for preparing young adults for the global job market and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
