Description
Abstract:This thesis explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the financial sector and its impact on banking habits, operational efficiency, consumer trust, and data privacy. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study combines quantitative surveys of banking customers with qualitative interviews of industry experts to assess how AI-driven technologies are transforming the sector. The findings confirm that AI enhances efficiency, automates decision-making, and enables service personalization, leading to increased reliance on digital banking channels. However, concerns about algorithmic bias, data security, and the erosion of human interaction persist among consumers, requiring institutions to adopt transparent, ethical, and regulatory-compliant AI systems. The study concludes that while AI presents immense opportunities for innovation and cost reduction, sustainable adoption demands a balanced approach that maintains consumer trust and prioritizes human oversight. Future research should examine cross-cultural differences in AI adoption and address emerging regulatory challenges in global financial markets.
