| Abstract: | This thesis examines the role of electric vehicles (EVs) in the Asian market, with a particular focus on China’s development and foreign trade strategies. It analyzes how government policies, trade agreements, and foreign direct investments have driven China’s rise as the global leader in the EV sector, and how this has influenced other Asian economies. Through a detailed review of market trends, policy frameworks, and regional cooperation strategies, the research identifies both the opportunities and challenges that arise from China's EV expansion. The study also highlights the differences between China’s aggressive, state-driven model and the more gradual approaches seen in countries like India, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Japan.Based on this comparative perspective, strategic recommendations aimed at supporting sustainable growth in electric vehicle industries across Asia are provided. My findings highlight how technological innovation combined with targeted industrial policy can enhance regional economic integration and support global environmental sustainability goals. |
