Description
Abstract:Start-ups are widely acknowledged as engines of innovation and growth. Yet, their volatile environments and high failure rates underscore the need to understand the factors that most significantly influence their success. This thesis investigates the role of two key elements in early-stage ventures: project management practices and business angel involvement. Drawing on theoretical frameworks and qualitative interviews with European start-up founders and investors, the study aims to identify effective management strategies and evaluate how business angels impact growth, decision-making, and long-term viability. The findings contribute practical insights for entrepreneurs, investors, and policy makers seeking to support more resilient and scalable start-up ecosystems.
